Our decisions are based on the following. 

1. We will put the Trust’s limited resources where they will have the maximum impact and benefit.
2. We will concentrate on matters on which:
   • the Trust is particularly well placed to make a significant and lasting effect
   • the knowledge and experience of the Trustees and its advisers can create added value beyond the value of the grant
   • the proposals for funding show clear and specific outcomes which will be evaluated
   • the funding creates a benefit for a wide community beyond the individual or organisation being supported and there are clear plans for dissemination of the learning.
3. We will ensure that the work being supported is of high quality demonstrating excellence in provision and creating innovation that others can take up and follow.
