Eligibility and application form
Please read this information about eligibility before completing an application for a grant from the Hibbert Trust.
We prioritise applications based on:
- Funding that will have maximum impact and benefit
- Projects that will achieve significant and lasting effect
- Projects that have clear, specific outcomes and show how these will be evaluated.
- Benefits to the wider community
- How innovative a project will be.
The Trustees follow an agreed policy to ensure that our limited resources are used to support projects which will have maximum impact in helping to achieve our vision and goals.
We do not award grants for:
- Ongoing running costs of an organisation
- Salaries paid to employees
- Courses of study started before the application has been made
- Projects run by, or for, non-liberal religious organisations.
